The short answer...no. The long answer....due to some of the content and delicate nature of artifacts displayed at the International Museum of Surgical Science children ages 7 and up are welcome to attend the ceremony.
Cocktail attire is recommended but we encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and confident!
Now on to the important stuff! We will be serving hors d'oeuvres along with beer and wine during the ceremony/cocktail hour. If you choose to join us for the reception, we will be catering Chicago's finest..... Portillos and Lou Malnatis! We will also provide beer, wine, and cocktails at the reception (you can BYOB at the reception if you have a specific drink in mind!).
We are doing things a little differently! At the ceremony venue (The International Museum of Surgical Science) we will have the wedding ceremony and a cocktail hour. During the cocktail hour we will do speeches, dances (first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance), cake cutting, and bouquet/garter toss. The reception will be more of an after party with food, drinks, and dancing!
