Her Point of View: Growing up in church together from a young age we grew to be fast friends. As we got older, I realized that I had a crush on Cruz, but knew nothing would ever come of it. Fast forward to college years we tried to make things work between us, but the timing wasn't right, and we lost touch for a while. A few years later we reconnected at my brother's wedding in 2021. We started off as just friends again as I was not looking for another relationship at the time despite multiple family and friends telling me we would be back together eventually, but I was stubborn and did not listen. As time went on and we continued to hangout more, all of my old feelings started to come back and I thought what the hell let's give it a shot and here we are today. It has definitely been a long journey getting to where we are today with a lot of ups and downs but what story is perfect. If my old self could see us today, she would be so incredibly happy and excited knowing we finally got the guy. His Point of View: Growing up Meagan and I became close very quickly. She was awesome and still is. We had a lot of things in common including soccer, church, and just liked having fun together. We eventually got together but it didn't work out at the time. Right person, wrong time. A few years passed and we eventually reconnected at Justin's wedding (her brother). Something inside told me to go up and talk to her even though we hadn't connected in a very long time. From there we talked more, hung out more, and eventually realized this is the time to try again and I can confidently say...... it worked this time. Throughout our time of reconnecting I realized that she was the one all along. And now we're going to live happily ever after together after all.
