We first met at Ledford High School band class. Cole was a freshman and I was a junior when we first met. We were great friends and would always have fun laughing and enjoying marching band throughout the years. I doubt that either of us would have believed you if you told us that we would end up together after I graduated. We never lost connection after I graduated but one day finally decided to go out on a date together. The rest is history.....
Cole and I had driven out on an old coal strip mine in Kentucky. There was nobody around for miles and it was the most intimate and romantic place that any woman could have dreamed of. We had visited this place once a couple months prior to the proposal and had seen several new born calves. Cole had pulled up to a ledge and told me to get out and look for any of the calves. I was looking off into the distance and thought that I had seen one and turned around to find Cole on his knee asking me to be his forever. I honestly do not remember anything that he had said because I was so shocked and full of excitement and happy tears. This is truly the most happiest moment that I have experience in my life thus far and I will never forget it.
