We met while on a spring break vacation to Wrightsville Beach, NC. We had lots of fun together, instant attraction...but we were both seeing other people. Fast forward a couple years, we reconnected and hit it off. Got Mauricio to move to Buffalo and the rest is history!

We were visiting Mauricio's sister in Red Hook, NY. On the way to a brewery, we took a tour of Bard College (where his brother in law works). Mind you, I was starving and it was freezing! It was decided to get out of the truck and walk through some mud to a really beautiful and historic mansion that is on campus. The scenery of the Catskill Mountains was breathtaking so we decided to take a picture, I was completely unaware of what was about to take place. Next thing I knew, Mauricio got down on one knee and I was shocked! He was crying, I was yelling YES and jumping up and down. What an unbelievable moment! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of your lives with you! See you all in Wrightsville!
