From Meagan's perspective: Blaze's elementary only went through 3rd grade, so all the China Elementary kids had to begin going to my elementary in the 4th grade. Being a relatively small school, that's probably when we first met but none of us remember that far back! So fast forward to middle school, Blaze and I were math nerds and ended up on the Math UIL team together. I ended up beating Blaze in competition that year and will NEVER let him live it down. That's probably when my crush began and I'm embarrassed to admit, it probably never subsided. All through high school we were very close, even going to a handful of dances together, summers at CYO convention and remaining good friends. I moved to A&M while Blaze went to Lamar and we stayed in contact and would see each other when I would come home for some weekends and holidays. When I came home for Thanksgiving 2015, I reached out to Blaze like normal and after a night out, we got coffee the next morning. For some reason, this time was different. He said he would come see me in Spring in a few weeks and I blew it off, until I got a text one day saying he would be coming that weekend! I joke that I wasn't sure if he would ever leave, because he proceeded to stay for four days where we spent NYE together and the rest is history! I sold my house and moved "home" that October 2016 and two years later, we purchased our home together on Aggie. We can't wait to see what this next chapter brings us!
