Chautauqua Park has a variety of hiking trails from easy loops to difficult hikes up the flatirons. There is also a beautiful green lawn to sit and enjoy the view and a dining hall to grab a sit-down meal. Wonderfully maintained and easy to access.
Avery is a great local brewery with a variety of different styles of beer. Some exclusive, tasting room only options are available. Tours are offered. Andrew and I have enjoyed a few meals and a few beers here and loved seeing and learning more about their brewery.
Ozo is a great local coffee shop with several locations around Boulder. They are known for their extensive mocha menu. Meagan's favorites include Valencia (dark chocolate and orange) and Lumberjack (dark chocolate, maple syrup, and vanilla). Andrew always loves a cappuccino or espresso over ice.
Pearl Street is a walking mall in Boulder with a mix of local shops, well-known brands, bars, and restaurants. Closed off to cars with nicely maintained trees and flowers, Pearl streets is a fun place to spend an hour or an afternoon.
Dushanbe Tea House is a gift to Boulder from Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Stop in for a cup of tea and a bite to eat or make a reservation for formal afternoon tea service.
