Question

What should I expect during a Greek Orthodox ceremony?

Answer

A Greek Orthodox ceremony is a sacred and traditional service, conducted in both Greek and English. It includes meaningful rituals such as the exchange of rings, the crowning of the couple to symbolize their union, and a ceremonial walk around the altar. The ceremony is rich in symbolism and a beautiful experience to witness.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

Black Tie attire. We encourage men to wear tuxedos and women to wear floor-length gowns. Since we’re celebrating on New Year’s Eve, feel free to add touches like sequins, velvet, metallics, or subtle sparkle for a festive yet elegant look!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the formal invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of family members who have been invited with their children. We hope you can enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Palmer House for our guests. Please use the link below to book at our special rate. Given that the wedding falls on a holiday, we recommend securing accommodations early. https://book.passkey.com/go/MossidesMeadowsWedding
