A Greek Orthodox ceremony is a sacred and traditional service, conducted in both Greek and English. It includes meaningful rituals such as the exchange of rings, the crowning of the couple to symbolize their union, and a ceremonial walk around the altar. The ceremony is rich in symbolism and a beautiful experience to witness.
Black Tie attire. We encourage men to wear tuxedos and women to wear floor-length gowns. Since we’re celebrating on New Year’s Eve, feel free to add touches like sequins, velvet, metallics, or subtle sparkle for a festive yet elegant look!

Yes, round-trip transportation will be provided between The Palmer House and Saint George Greek Orthodox Church. Transportation will depart from the Wabash Avenue entrance of The Palmer House at 4:30 p.m.
Valet parking is available at the Palmer House, with self-parking in the garage across the street. Guests are highly encouraged to use the round-trip transportation provided to ensure a timely arrival to and from the church.
