Your presence is gift enough for us, and gifts are not required! If you do still wish to contribute in another way, a small donation to our Relocation/Honeymoon Fund is appreciated!
The ceremony will be a short, intimate Jewish ceremony officiated by Rabbi Lisa Rappaport.
As our wedding is in the evening, we are asking guests to come having eaten an early dinner. After the ceremony there will be light snacks/appetizers along with beer, wine, and soda (and cake!).
We are having a small, intimate wedding surrounded by family and close friends. If your plus-one is someone either of us know, please text or call to confirm before RSVP-ing.
Please wear what you are comfortable in. This will be an outdoor celebration, so thin heels may not be best. A light jacket may be nice for the evening.
The Lake Concow Campground is roughly a 40 minute drive from Chico. You can take the CA-99 S, exiting following signs for Durham-Pentz Road and CA-70 E, heading up 70 and turning left onto Concow Road. From there, follow Concow Road to the lake and follow signs for the wedding. A Google Maps link with more in-depth instructions to the campground can be found here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/PaTFjRXZa5FmFsVJ9
There will be designated parking at the campground, close to where the ceremony will be held.
Yes, there will be enclosed, well-maintained pit toilets nearby with sinks.
Butte County in July is quite hot, but Concow is usually a bit cooler than Chico. The ceremony and reception will be next to the lake with considerable shade, and taking place in the early evening. This should minimize the heat a bit, but it will still be important to stay safe and hydrated!
