We're Getting Married!

It all started with a dating app. We downloaded the same app at the same time, and now joke that we wouldn't have found one another otherwise! For work, Matt transferred to Walnut Creek from his hometown--Red Bluff California. Because the dating "radius" for apps can be so small, there was no way we would have shown up on each other's suggestions if this transfer didn't happen. So... one thing led to another. Time went on and we got to know one another. We recently celebrated 2 years of dating, though we've known each other for 3 years. God has blessed and guided this journey, and we know the wait to find one another was worth it. K+M Fun Facts: -Kelsey's grandparents live in Northern California where Matt grew up; she has visited the area so often! -Both were born in the same year and are just 2 months apart in age! -Before meeting, both have backpacked the same trail: The Trinity Alps (though at separate times) -Kelsey and Matt love the outdoors, finding the best pizza spot, praying in parking lots, scooting up to a diner counter for breakfast, and stargazing. They will always pet all the dogs, hate bumper stickers, abide by the "sidewalk rule", and find the biggest fireplaces. Both find passion in their career choices and faiths, and both find comfort and rest when they get to be "home" home with one another. But...opposites attract too: -Matt is an "all-in" kind of guy. When he gets a taste something he likes, game over! Kelsey admires his intense pursuit of his passions and hobbies. He is the most strong-willed and selfless person she knows. -Kelsey is a "let's think on it" kind of girl. She will wait quietly and stay patient with big decisions. Often, she has to "sleep on things" and pray for making the right choice. Matt loves Kelsey's introspective nature and appreciates her desire to wait on the Lord.
