La Jolla Cove is a small cove with a beach that is surrounded by cliffs in La Jolla, San Diego, California. The area is protected as part of a marine reserve and is popular with snorkelers, swimmers and scuba divers. Be sure to visit the Seals and Sea Lions!
This beach is also a popular kayaking spot because of its smooth waters and nearby sea caves and home of surf lessons!
This is one of our favorite activities in San Diego! Every Saturday & Sunday at 10am, located at Palisades Park in Pacific Beach, there is a free oceanfront yoga class. Be sure to arrive ~30 mins early and bring a mat or towel!
Spend the day relaxing on the beach at Hotel del Coronado or rent a bike and tour the island via Coronado's beachfront boardwalk. Take a stroll down Orange Avenue, Coronado's main artery, which is lined with shops, restaurants and galleries.
India and Kettner Street are filled with restaurants, shops and bars - we suggest making a dinner reservation and walking around here Thursday prior to the welcome party. Check out the farmers market every Saturday 8am-2pm or the Little Italy Food Hall which frequently has live music! Nolita Hall, Morning Glory, Ironside Oyster, Civico 1945, Kettner Exchange, Seneca, Juniper & Ivy, Coco Maya and Underbelly are a few favorite restaurants!
You can't come to San Diego without hitting the beach. Here are a few additional beaches to check out: Windansea Beach in La Jolla, much like La Jolla Shores, is a great place for surfing and other water sports. It’s a popular beach for surfers, especially longtime locals, and a great spot for doing some sunbathing and watching the surfers. Come here for incredible views of the Pacific Ocean, too – it’s especially popular at sunset. Pacific Beach - Great place to walk along the boardwalk and end at Law Street Beach. Affectionately referred to as “PB” by the locals, Pacific Beach is a laid back community located between Pacific Beach Drive and the Crystal Pier. Not only is the beach itself gorgeous, but the path above it is lined with charming shops and restaurants. Ocean Beach is a vibrant, bohemian neighborhood, with a classic SoCal beach vibe. We love to grab Mike's Taco Club and enjoy on the beach!
Torrey Pines Golf Course Coronado Golf Club Balboa Park (18 or 9 holes)

Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre historic urban cultural park. In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens (we love rose & cactus gardens!), and walking paths, it contains museums, several theaters, and the San Diego Zoo.
Area which commemorates the landing of the first European to explore present-day California in 1542. It is a beautiful ecological reserve with some of the very best look-out points of the city. Make sure to check out the tide pools on a clear, low-tide day.
