What should I wear? What colors should I avoid?
Answer
Any traditional formal clothing or wedding formal (gowns, cocktail dresses, tuxes, and suits). Please go to the following links if you would like to order Indian or Vietnamese clothing! We kindly ask you to not wear white. Please do not wear the Vietnamese headpieces (Khan Dong) as those are reserved for the bride and groom. Indian: Ladies can go for a saree, or opt for a salwar kameez (one piece dress + scarf) or a lehenga (blouse + skirt combo). The item description will indicate if pants are included or a separate purchase. For ladies, an ao dai is a two-piece outfit (a long tunic with side slits accompanied with silk pants). For men, an ao dai do not require matching pants and are not typically sold online. Are there any cultural traditions I should be aware of?

We will be having a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony. The bride & groom will be wearing a red and gold ao dai, as it symbolizes good luck and prosperity.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to limited capacity in the venue and wanting to keep the event intimate, we are not having plus ones.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Our wedding is an RSVP only event. Due to guest list restrictions, please refer to your invite for the number of seats we have reserved in your honor. Please plan accordingly, there will not be any babysitting services, or children's activities available at the venue.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
The ceremony starts promptly at 1PM on September 19, 2025. Please plan to be seated by then. Cocktail hour begins at 3:45 PM. For the reception, please arrive by 4:30PM and expect to be seated by 4:45PM for the tea ceremony. It is about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot to the reception area.

There is free onsite parking for both the ceremony and reception.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Our ceremony and reception will be indoors! September in NC is on the warmer, humid side, with a high of 80 and low of 60 Fahrenheit.

What is the closest airport?
Answer
The closest airport is RDU, Raleigh–Durham International Airport. The hotel will be easily accessible from RDU via car.

Is there any transportation services?
Answer
There will not be any transportation services provided. Please ensure your own ride/rental to get from the ceremony to the reception. Both locations have free and large parking lots.

What kind of food will be available at the wedding?
Answer
We will be serving Vietnamese and Indian food for dinner. There will be vegetarian, pescatarian, peanut-free, and nut-free options.
