Growing up in a small town like Baker, it would only be fitting that you may find yourself being with someone you went to high school with, or for most of the locals here, maybe even from kindergarten! You wouldn’t know it at the time, but your significant other may have just grown up with you.. Destin and I went to school together and although we didn’t know each other during that time, i can remember the first time i heard his name. we were in 7th grade and i remember thinking “what!? his name is Destin?” and being in such awe, at lunch that day i went and told my best friend. “his name is Destin, like the city!”.. to my surprise, she knew who he was and that he was our longtime classmates brother. fast forward and we are 19/20. i am with my (ex) boyfriend at the time. he had just picked me up and where we went next was Destin’s house. my ex and destin were close friends, so ultimately, i officially met Destin through him. Destin was with someone else at the time we met and i was with my boyfriend so there was no interest in each other.
