Please arrive by 6 PM sharp. The ceremony will start promptly at 6:15 PM. We encourage guests to arrive to the venue early and enjoy refreshments while waiting for the ceremony to begin.
The wedding is black tie optional, but we'd love to see you dress to impress! Suits or tuxedos are welcome for the men, and gowns or formal cocktail dresses for the women.
Although we love your little ones, this is an adults-only affair, outside of our immediate family.
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and reception will be indoors.
We will not be providing transportation services. We recommend our guests use Uber, Lyft, or yellow cabs. There is a small parking area on Willink Drive for those that plan to drive to and from the Boathouse. If you are using a taxi or rideshare app, route your trip to the corner of Lincoln Road and Ocean Avenue. From there, walk into the park on E Lake Drive. After ~2 minute walk, you'll see a bridge/tunnel on your right. Walk through the tunnel, and you'll see the Boathouse to the right. If you are driving, to find the boathouse, you'll enter Prospect Park just south of 452 Flatbush Ave at Willink Drive. Willink Drive is the brick-paved Park entrance you should use. There will be a dedicated parking area here for our wedding guests who are driving. Staff will direct you to the Boathouse, which is a short walk from the parking area.
We recommend heading out on foot to explore the neighborhood! For a relaxed stroll with plenty of restaurants and shops, walk west down Atlantic Avenue toward Brooklyn Bridge Park (Pier 6). You can also wander along charming side streets like Court Street and Clinton Street. Some of our favorite nearby spots: Restaurants: Gage & Tollner, Chez Moi Bars: Clover Club, Elsa, Bohemien Bar Coffee: Devoción, L'appartement 4F Sightseeing & Strolling: Brooklyn Heights Promenade: Iconic views of Manhattan, a must-see just a short walk away. Brooklyn Bridge Park: Expansive waterfront park with skyline views, piers, playgrounds, and Jane’s Carousel. DUMBO: Cobblestone streets, scenic photo ops (hello, Manhattan Bridge shot!), cute boutiques, and more. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge: Start from the Brooklyn side and walk into Manhattan for a classic NYC experience. Getting around is easy - most major subway lines are nearby. Just pop your destination into Google Maps, and it’ll guide you to the best route.
