Question

I have proof of immunization for COVID-19. Do I need to get a COVID-19 test in order to attend?

Answer

(Updated 3/21/2021) No. The NY Governor announced that NYS will allow wedding receptions with up to 50% venue capacity, as long as all attendees either show proof of recent negative test result OR show proof of immunization prior to the event. If you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you do not need to get tested prior to the wedding. Upon your arrival to The Water Club, the Wedding Coordination Team will ask you for your name, ID, and the proof of immunization i.e. your COVID-19 immunization card which includes your name and other demographic information. Make sure you have this information at hand so that the check-in process goes quickly. Thank you for your patience!

Question

I did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Do I need to get a COVID-19 test in order to attend?

Answer

(Updated 3/21/2021) Yes. The NY Governor announced that NYS will allow wedding receptions with up to 50% venue capacity, as long as all attendees either show proof of recent negative test result OR show proof of immunization prior to the event. All attendees who are NOT vaccinated, must get a COVID-19 test prior to the wedding. As of today, NYS requires a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of the event. Upon your arrival to The Water Club, there will be a quick Check-In. The Wedding Coordination Team will ask you for your name, the proof of negative COVID-19 test result, and ID/Driver's License. Make sure you have the information at hand so that the check-in process goes quickly. Showing a negative test result on your phone is sufficient evidence. Families should be checking in together. We don't expect the Check-In process to take long, just make sure you are ready to provide all required information. We appreciate your patience!

Question

What are the COVID-19 protocols for the event?

Answer

Due to NY State’s capacity guidelines, the number of guests for our wedding is limited. This means that our wedding will be very intimate & that we will be celebrating with close friends & family only. We are honored by your presence & want to make sure you are comfortable to attend. As previously stated, NYS guidelines for weddings state that all attendees must either show proof of a recent negative test result OR show proof of immunization prior to the wedding. Upon your arrival to The Water Club, The Wedding Coordination Team will ask you for your name and either the proof of negative COVID-19 test or proof of immunization. Showing a negative test result on your phone is sufficient evidence. In terms of seating arrangements, same households will be seated together. We will try our best to seat anyone not in the same household using the appropriate guidelines for distancing. Tables at the reception will not exceed 8 persons

Question

What time should I arrive at?

Answer

Guests can start to arrive by 12:30pm. Keep in mind that there is a quick Check-In process upon your arrival. We recommend having all information at hand i.e. ID, proof of immunization or proof of negative COVID-19 test in your phone. The ceremony begins at 1pm.

Question
