The ceremony will begin at 12 PM St Mary’s Church, Astbury. We request guests arrive with plenty of time to be seated at 11:30.
Parking is available close to the Church. Please see the 'Travel' page of this website for full details. We kindly ask guests not to park directly outside the Church or in the Church car park. There is also a car park at The Cheshire Venue for Reception and evening guests.
The dress code is formal attire (suits/dresses). We request no jeans please! Please don't wear a white dress!
We are requesting an unplugged wedding ceremony (no phones). We want everyone to enjoy our wedding with their eyes. Please turn off and put away all phones and cameras so everyone can be fully present and enjoy the moment with us. We have a professional photographer and videographer who will be capturing the ceremony and celebrations throughout the day. Guests are very welcome to take photos before and after the ceremony, and during the reception. As we are not active on social media, we respectfully ask that no photos or videos from our wedding are posted online.
Yes, the church only allows certain types of confetti and only in a certain location on the church grounds. We will provide confetti for guests so you don't need to worry about bringing your own! Our photographer will arrange everyone into the right place after the drinks and snacks at the church so you won't miss out.

There will be some light snacks after the Church ceremony, plenty of canapes with the drinks reception prior to the wedding breakfast (for those attending the full day), and a selection of pizza in the evening. There will of course be wedding cake! We hope you are hungry!
If you have any dietary requirements or food allergies please let us know and we will do our very best to cater for them. Please let us know via RSVP if you would prefer the vegetarian/vegan meal option.
There will be a seating plan at the Reception, with place names on the tables to guide guests.
The Wedding Ceremony will take place indoors. If the weather is nice, there will be the opportunity to take photographs outside. At the Reception venue, all activities will be indoors, but the gardens and outdoor spaces are available for you to enjoy.
We kindly ask that no pets be brought to the Church or the Reception venue. Thank you for understanding.

We will have non-alcoholic drinks at the Church. There will be drinks served at the Reception venue on arrival. A selection of drinks will be supplied during the Wedding Breakfast. Evening drinks are purchasable from the on-site bar (cash and card are accepted).
YES! There will a live band and DJ for the evening entertainment!
The celebrations will conclude at midnight. Please arrange all taxis and collections for this time.
Parking is available at the reception venue. Guests are welcome to leave their cars there overnight if they are staying elsewhere. We kindly ask that all cars are collected by 11:00am the following day.
