Once upon a time... A salesman walked into a grocery store to get his son a Birthday card. As he stepped through the front glass- door entry he was immediately noticed with his tough- guy look in uniform. His big contagious grin lit up the entryway as he smoothly (will let him believe that) pitched his creative line to catch the florist’s eye working inside. ‘Excuse me ma’am, can I get a mum for 148 cents..?’ The price sign numbers for the mums outside blew away in the wind from the correct price of $14.99 to that of 148c... Well, that bargained conversation starter began at that moment and has not stopped since. And so, after this history was told, this old florist is still sold. We are very in love through it all❣️
