Question

Is dinner plated or buffet? Is there a kids menu?

Answer

Due to Covid we are offering a plated dinner that will be served to our guests to limit the amount of contact. The kids menu will include chicken tenders. The regular menu items will include a cut of beef, chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans.

Is this indoor or outdoor?

Answer

100% indoor and in the 100% in the A/C. Our Ceremony and reception will both be inside of Hotel Blackhawk. We will have the entire 2nd floor of the hotel for our special day. Of course, if you choose to walk to a restaurant, shop, bar, etc. you will be exposed to the elements. Fingers crossed for good weather!

Is it an open bar?

Answer

There will be complimentary beer and wine during cocktail hour and throughout the reception. Mixed drinks and other beer selections can be purchased at two cash bars.

Is there assigned seating?

Answer

We will have assigned seating for dinner. A seating chart will be posted on your way into the reception with your name and table number.

Can I park in the parking lot at Hotel Blackhawk?

Answer

If you are staying at Hotel Blackhawk - absolutely! You can leave your vehicle there all weekend. For guests not staying at Hotel Blackhawk, you are still welcome to park in the parking lot, but not overnight. If you prefer, there is a parking ramp close by. There is also free on-street parking around the Hotel.

Is there a shuttle to and from the reception?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are both located at Hotel Blackhawk. Once you park your vehicle at the hotel you're all set for the weekend! There is a free shuttle to/from the airport in Moline, IL. to Hotel Blackhawk downtown Davenport, IA. for any guests flying directly into the Quad Cities.
