Our favorite places to stay are Cannon Beach and Cape Kiwanda (make sure to explore the dunes and have a sunset beach bonfire). Perfect opportunity for a road trip down the coast! Don't miss the Tillamook creamery, Oregon Dunes, breakfast burritos at Ben & Jeff's in Cape Kiwanda, and Astoria for the original Goonies town. The Oregon coast has jaw-dropping, world class views all the way to California.

Continue the mountain adventure in the cutest mountain town! Smith Rock state park is a real-life Radiator Springs with rock formation straight from Cars. Float down the river with a craft beer at Riverbend park. We also loved Lava Butte, Painted Hills, and seeing the 3 Sisters mountains.

Want to see an even bigger mountain? Our favorite hikes are Mt. Fremont Lookout (Beautiful at sunset, pack a puffer because it gets freezing) and Naches Loop - but there are endless to explore! Be sure to get a timed entry at recreation.gov so you can enter the park.

Olympic National Park is the only national park in the U.S. that gives you alpine mountains, temperate rainforest, and wild Pacific coastline — all within a single park. Highly recommend the Hoh Rainforest, Ruby beach, Rialto beach, Cape Flattery, and Hurricane Ridge. Be prepared for a road trip - the sights are spread out across the peninsula!
