What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is black-tie optional. Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but also have the option to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress.

Please exit the FAQs section and go to the RSVP tab on this website. Alternatively, you can use your smartphone to scan the QR code on the back of the RSVP card in your invitation.

Have you reserved a block of rooms at a specific hotel?
Answer
There is a block of rooms reserved at the Roslyn Tapestry Collection by Hilton. To book a hotel room in our block please either use the link under the 'Travel & Hotel' tab on this website, or call the hotel at 516-625-2700 and let them know you would like to book a room under the McCloskey-Stiene wedding block. If you do not book through either of these methods, you will not get the preferred rate.

How do I get to the ceremony from the hotel?
Answer
There will be shuttles taking guest from the hotel to the venue before the ceremony. Additionally, there will be shuttles available back to the hotel near the end of the wedding as well as at the end of the after party.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside in the garden. There is a paved path leading to the ceremony and down the aisle, but chairs for seating will be in grass. The cocktail hour space will be part indoor part outdoor. The remainder of the night will be inside the air conditioned venue.

Can I bring a guest or my child?
Answer
The invitations were addressed specifically to those who were invited. If your invitation is not addressed to the person in question or to 'you & guest', then no.

I have dietary restrictions. Will they be accommodated?
Answer
Our dinner menu has options for guests that are vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free etc. Our cocktail hour will be extensive, and there will undoubtedly be options for everyone.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Please arrive at the Royalton Mansion no later than 5:30 for the ceremony. If you can't make the ceremony, the cocktail hour (1.5 hours) is from 6:30-8:00 PM. The reception is from 8:00 PM - 12 AM followed by an after party.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
Answer
If you are staying at the hotel, there will be a breakfast at the hotel Saturday morning after the wedding to say goodbye to guests. Information on specific location and time will be in your welcome bag when you arrive at the hotel.
