The year was 2018. Miranda and Matthew met each other while working at Vans. Matthew was instantly attracted to Miranda, but Miranda was in a relationship at the time. They worked together for a couple of months, Matthew as Miranda's boss. Then on January 1st, Miranda became single and Matthew asked God, at work, "is this my moment?". Three months later Matthew was going back to work at his church, which meant he was quitting Vans. Matthew asked Miranda to go to Disneyland on his last day of work because it was frowned upon for employees to hangout outside of work. They became close after Disneyland, spending vast amounts of time together. Then Matthew took Miranda on a date, but it all felt too fast so Matthew was banished to the dreaded "friend zone". But Matthew did not give up. Soon afterwards, Miranda started to show affection for Matthew and on May 31st they became official or started going steady, as they say. They dated for a 16 months and then Matthew popped the question. He took Miranda to a park, where he had twinkle lights laying out with a blanket, waiting for them.
