What time is the wedding?

Please arrive at 6:10pm! Ceremony will be 6:30pm

What should I wear?
Answer
Imagine “wizard and fairy wed in a rose garden”. Dress is semi-formal. Fantasy, wizard, medieval, and Wiccan attire welcomed. Think light and fun! Our colors are sage, lavender, gold, and caramel - wearing these colors are optional.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Your invitation will specify if you are allowed a guest. Attendance is limited, so please do not bring one if you are not specified a guest. Please let us know if you have someone you’d like to bring and we will check if there are any spaces available after all RSVPs have been received.

Attendance is limited, so please no children unless already invited. Please let us know if you are not able to get childcare and we will check if there is any available space after all RSVPs have been received.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We kindly request phones off during the ceremony. We have a photographer who will be capturing this for us so you don’t have to. You can take as many pics and vids as you want at the reception, just try not to get in the way of our photographer please!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
All food and desserts available will be gluten free and vegan! We will have nut-free options as well. Please let us know if you have any other allergies and we will do our best! We will not be having a full dinner service, but plenty of hors d’oeuvres

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

The Poe Museum has a parking lot available to us after hours, or free street parking is also available.

Can I smoke at the event?
Answer
The Poe Museum is a non-smoking property. Please head to the parking lot or the side street to smoke if you need to. This includes vaping!!!!! Please be respectful of the museum.

- No food or drink in the museum exhibits - No smoking or vaping (except in parking lot) - Exit doors must remained closed - No open containers of alcohol may leave the gated premises, and no alcohol is allowed in the parking lot - Please respect the museum!
