McKay & Shae
Our Story
McKay and Shae matched on Bumble in July 2021. After weeks of messaging back and forth, McKay asked Shae on a date. Shae said no (she says it was because she had just moved home with her parents).
5 months later, Shae bought her townhouse and posted a picture to her Instagram story. McKay decided to throw a 'thumbs up' into her DMs and the conversation between the two started up again. A week later, McKay and Shae finally went on their first date - ice skating and tacos.
Over the years, McShae has bonded over shared interests of cooking, eating, trips to the beach, gym sessions, and reality TV. Additionally, Shae is slowly being converted into a sports fan.
After 2.5 years of dating, McKay built up the courage to pop the question. During a vacation to Cabo in March of 2024, and with the help of McKay's parents and brother, McKay proposed during a beach sunrise.
Since getting engaged, McShae bought a house together in Castle Rock, CO where they live with their pup, Wyatt.
