A lot of things happen in an ambulance, but you would not guess that two people will make such an impression on each other that it leads to a date two years down the road. However, that is exactly what happened with the help of a request for a chocolate gravy recipe. Fast forward 4 years later and wedding bells are in our near future!

When our friends in Fayetteville planned a get together for a birthday, we were too excited to help celebrate. Due to work we weren't sure if Matt would get to attend. However, he was able to get off a week prior to the trip and kept it a secret from me. So, with two days left to go he let me know that he was able to make the trip. He also planned for us to go to a pick your own wildflower farm. Of course, I thought this was a perfect place to propose but knowing that he is a planner I did not think it would happen. To my surprise he did just that. We picked our flowers with our friends and then he walked me down to the little pond on the property. He said some sweet words and then got down on one knee to make my dreams come true! After we celebrated next to the pond with a bottle of chilled champagne and memorial glasses that he brought with us. It was such a surprise and one of the best days. He definitely made it memorable and something we will not forget.
