We were set up by a mutual friend at the time, and began texting. We both didn't think much of it and were definitely not looking for anything serious- we were only 19! Callum invited Sarah over to his flat one afternoon and after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing she decided to go. They spent the whole day and night chatting, laughing and singing - it was late at night and the only thing on the tele was The Best of Ed Sheeran. Both the bride and groom say it was then they realised this could be something very special! The rest was history!
During Sarah's 26th birthday trip to a lodge near the Scottish border, after 6 and a half years together, Callum got down on one knee. He was very nervous and got very drunk on the journey there! He was wearing swimming trunks and Sarah's purple size 5 crocs! The next day, after drinking champagne for breakfast, he smashed a vase and ended up in A&E with 7 stitches in his hand. He now has a scar to forever remember the weekend!
