Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Ally McRae and Kyle Duke
We are so excited to have our favorite people in our favorite city! Below are some of the things we love to do in the area!!

Fall for Greenville

Downtown, Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Enjoy Fall for Greenville, the largest food and music festival in the Upstate. Takes place downtown where you can purchase taste tickets, drink beer, and walk around listening to 7 different stages of music. Downtown will be crazyyyy but it's worth checking out!

Falls Park on the Reedy

601 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Greenville is known for Falls Park. Make sure you walk across The Liberty Bridge to see the Falls in all of their glory. The park is also very accessible and is home to our favorite coffee shop, Spill the Beans!

Swamp Rabbit Trail

Swamp Rabbit Trail, Greenville, SC 29607

This 28 mile trail expands through Greenville all the way up to neighboring Traveler's Rest. It travels along the Reedy River and multiple parks. Spend some time walking or biking it - you'll be sure to run into some beautiful views and fun stops along the way!

Reedy Rides

50 South Richardson Street, Greenville, SC 29601

In case you are up for biking, Reedy Rides is the place to rent from! It is located downtown and is two blocks from the Swamp Rabbit Trail, which makes it easy to hop right on once you get setup! If you want to ride without doing all of the work, try an electric bike! Ally and her mom rented them and biked all the way up to Traveler's Rest - they were incredibly fun!

Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery

205 Cedar Lane Road, Greenville, SC 29611

This cafe is easily accessible via the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or it's just a quick drive from downtown. It is a local grocery store that also serves amazing sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. Make sure to tell them it's your first time and get your free Stecca (THE best bread). Ally also recommends a hand pie which are only available on Weekends. If you don't feel like making the trek here, try Swamp Mart on Main Street for grab and go breakfast and lunch.

Main Street

Main Street, SC 29605

Be sure to walk up and down Main Street!! Not only is it beautiful, but there are so many staples along the way. Don't miss stopping into our favorites: Mast General Store and M. Judson Bookstore!

Unity Park

320 South Hudson Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Also accessible via the Swamp Rabbit Trail - unity park is our newest park that's home to two great breweries, coffee, and some great food options! There is a lot of green space to sit down and have a picnic, or grab a table at The Commons and people watch passersby on the trail!

Breweries

Greenville has quite a handful of breweries to visit, but our favorites include YeeHaw, Southernside, New Realm, Eighth State, Fireforge, The Whale, and Community Tap.

Not in the Mood for Beer?

Try some of our favorite cocktail spots! Up on the Roof (has a beautiful view of Greenville), The Cocktail Co., Vault and Vator, Urban Wren, or Swordfish!

Sidewall Pizza Company

99 Cleveland Street, Greenville, SC 29601

There are an endless amount of restaurants to try downtown, but if you're craving pizza you MUST try Sidewall. Our favorite is The Tommy, but you cannot go wrong with any of them. Fun fact - we got takeout Sidewall the night we got engaged!

Group Therapy Pub & Playground

320 Falls Street, Greenville, SC 29601

It's in the name, but this is a bar that is right downtown and has indoor mini golf, axe throwing, ice curling, and several other games. It also has food and mixed drinks or beer! Check it out if you want something different to do!

Rock Quarry Garden

Greenville, SC 29601

If you want to visit a more quaint park outside of Falls Park, go see Rock Quarry Garden. It has a little waterfall of its own and is such a beautiful spot tucked just outside of Main Street. This spot is just a few minute walk from our apartment so we visit it frequently. Fun fact - this is where Kyle proposed :)
