We met while both working at Vince's Spaghetti in Ontario. Matthew worked in the kitchen and Meghan worked both in and out of the kitchen as the supervisor. It started as two people who bonded over the love of Stranger Things on Netflix! We planned to hang out every Wednesday (our day off) to watch the latest episode. Not only that but Matthew would take Meghan to the Lego store, we both picked out a Lego (Meghans being the kids ones), we would grab something to eat then go home and build, eat, and watch. It became so routine we just always wanted to be around each other! eventually Matthew took Meghan to Disneyland as group dates and would plan the days beginning to end ensuring they both had the most of their days! Matthew would even face time Meghan and would teach her how to play some of his video games, eventually he bought a new one and set up his old one at her house so they could play together. Then Holidays would come around and it became a questioning game of "Do you want to come over and meet my family?" which ended up happening. We both have big families, so holidays take some planning beginning to end of the day! Finally on September 11, 2022 Matthew asked Meghan to be his girlfriend! of course she said "YES!". Eventually it went for days apart, day apart, to NEVER apart! 3 years later on our annual Big Bear trip for the 4th of July Matthew organized and planned a whole thing to ask me to marry him under the fireworks! The day itself did NOT go as planned, but he somehow still was able to get down on one knee, surprise Meghan, and get the "YES". We now live happily in our own home with our beautiful fur babies! Roxie, Lady, and Pepper. Never forgetting Matthews first love and fur baby Abby who shares a spot in our home watching over us! We both can't wait to share one of the biggest moments of out lives and to start a whole new chapter!
