We know you'd love to see us, but we ask that you arrive no earlier than 4pm. Please allow for enough time to be seated in the greenhouse before the 4:30 ceremony start.
We love kids but want you to enjoy a date night on us! Therefore, we kindly ask you to make other arrangements for your kids on Friday night. Kids are welcome for Thursday’s welcome party, and any Saturday plans.
We would love to have you get all dressed up for this special occasion!! Recommended attire is formal cocktail. For men, please wear a suit jacket. We have selected black and white as our color scheme. Please consider wearing black attire. Please avoid all shades of white, denim, and shorts. Our ceremony will take place in a greenhouse, which will match the temperature of outdoor shaded area. The cocktail hour will take place outside, weather permitting. Please dress accordingly. As for shoes, all walking paths are cement. We hope the see you on the dance floor all night long, so pick shoes accordingly or bring along a second pair.
Yes! If you plan to drive to our venue, you are welcome to leave your car overnight. You will need to pick your car up the next morning by 10 am. Please refer to the transportation page for more information regarding ways to get to and from our venue.
We are so excited to invite everyone that will be in town Thursday night to Tangled Root Lodge to gather the night before the wedding! Anyone is welcome to join us, but no one is expected to be there aside from those that will already be around for the rehearsal dinner. We ask that you please park at the Dune Ride parking lot found at 6495 Blue Star Highway, Saugatuck MI 49453. The lot has been reserved for the evening and is a 5 minute walk from the welcome party venue.

The bar is open all night on us. Our venue offers a wide variety of beer, liquor, wine and non-alcoholic options. Do not bring any outside food and drink onto the premises.
Our ceremony will take place inside a green house. In the event of rain, there will only be a short walk from the green house to the Ivy House, where the reception will take place.
When RSVP’ing, please mention your dietary restrictions and needs in the comments section. We will make our catering service aware of your needs and make appropriate accommodations.
We are so lucky to have so many friends and family! However, due to our venue’s size restrictions, we had to make accommodations for extending the invite to additional guests. When invitations are sent out, it will be addressed to “Name and guest” if the invite is extended to a guest. Thank you for your understanding.
