Maid of Honor
Kaylee has been one of my very best friends for over 20 years, and I truly cannot imagine my life without her. She is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know — the type of person who would drop everything to help someone she loves. I’ve watched her give the clothes off her back, open her home to friends in need, and show up for people time and time again without hesitation. She’s incredibly smart, endlessly funny, and has the biggest heart of anyone I know. I am so lucky to call her my best friend and even luckier to have her standing beside me as my Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Hanh is one of the strongest and most dependable women I know. She’s the friend who always shows up, always tells the truth, and always pushes the people she loves to be the best version of themselves. She’s a true girls’ girl — supportive, uplifting, and everyone’s personal hype woman. I’ve always looked up to her because she never allows the people in her life to settle for less than they deserve. She challenges me, encourages me, and helps me grow in all the ways a meaningful friendship should. Even though she acts tough, she has the softest heart and somehow turns insults into a form of affection. I’m so thankful for her friendship and so lucky to have her standing beside me.
Bridesmaid
Emily and I met during one of the strangest and hardest seasons of my life, and somehow from those less-than-ideal circumstances came one of the most meaningful friendships I’ve ever had. First impressions probably should not have worked in our favor, but from the very beginning we just understood each other. Over the last three years, we’ve been through so many changes, challenges, and milestones side by side, and I’m endlessly grateful for her support and her ability to love without judgment. She is fiercely loyal, deeply honest, and one of the funniest people I know. Even though she’s one of the worst texters alive and somehow never answers the phone, when she’s present, she’s fully present. She listens, she cares deeply, and she’s the kind of friend who makes you feel truly seen. Long-distance friendships aren’t always easy, but a friendship with Emily is worth every bit of effort.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is not only one of my bridesmaids, but also my new sister, and I truly feel so lucky that Michael brought such incredible women into my life. From the moment I met Rachel, we instantly clicked and became close friends, but over time she and Sarah have genuinely become family to me. Rachel is one of the most interesting people I know — from her career to her hobbies and interests, she’s just effortlessly cool. But beyond that, she has one of the kindest hearts of anyone I’ve met. She’s the type of person who will always stop to make sure someone is okay, always willing to care for the people around her. She’s incredibly smart, thoughtful, and compassionate, and I’m beyond grateful not only to call her my friend, but now my sister too.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is one of those people who makes every room brighter. She’s incredibly organized, competitive, and probably the most Type A person I know, but she’s also one of the most fun people to celebrate life with. She has this amazing ability to make everyone around her feel included and cared for, always wanting the people around her to have a good time and feel like they belong. What I admire most about Sarah is how intentional she is with her relationships. She puts so much care into the people she loves, and it shows in everything she does. I’m endlessly grateful to now call Sarah and Rachel my sisters because they truly are one of a kind.
Best Man
I had the hardest time choosing my best man because I was best man for both Evan's and Chandler's weddings. I went with the obvious choice of my younger brother. Steven is arguably my best friend. I think it is assumed that brothers have to be friends, but I would choose Steven as my friend 100 out of 100 times. He is ever the optimist. He has many passions and is driven to succeed in all of them. He sticks to his word and always follows through on his duties. Steven is dependable, honest, reliable, and my biggest supporter. Even though he lives 8 hours away, I know if I needed his help, he would be here in 6 hours. He once drove to SC on a whim to deliver an item for Megan's stepdad, Jerry, despite having never met before. When we are together, you can bet Steven and I are going to be huddled up together giggling about some nonsense in a language that only he and I can understand.
Groomsman
Evan is one of my best friends from South Carolina. He is like a brother to me. Together we plan and prepare our lives as husbands and fathers. Whether we are scaling mountains, exploring foreign lands, wasting ammo at the range, or drinking sake on a night out, we are always having fun together.
Groomswoman
Emilie is one of the kindest and friendliest people you could ever meet. She can talk to you about anything and everything; she is a true friend. Without Emilie, this wedding would not even be happening. Being the kind soul she is, Emilie and her husband brought me into their home when I had nowhere else to go in South Carolina. After I got back on my feet and moved out, she extended the same kindness to Megan. Through her, Megan and I met playing board games at Emilie's house.
Groomsman
Viktor is my brother. He's hard-working, intelligent, and a joy to be around. Viktor loves hanging with friends, going on adventures, and exploring the outdoors. He's the ultimate hype man. Viktor was voted most likely to get my siblings drunk at any event. I always like having Viktor on my team, but I hate playing against him.
Groomsman
Chandler and I have been friends for ages. We met as kids in 4H riding horses together. The adventures and laughs have been there for decades. Chan is the type of guy who would give you the clothes off his back with a smile and make jokes about being a stripper at the same time.
