We matched with each other on Tinder in late 2014. At the time, I was in my senior year at California Lutheran University while Ryan was studying at Moorpark College. After talking for a few months online, we finally met in person. Fun fact- our first date was at Yogurtland in Simi Valley! We dated for 2 years, and then I moved to Arizona to pursue PT school. We held a long-distance relationship over the next 2.5 years until we decided that Arizona would be our home.

March 11, 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. After I graduated from PT school and when Ryan had completed his B.S. degree at California State University Channel Islands, we went on a 2 week adventure to Europe. We visited France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. I had always joked with Ryan how I didn't want him to propose in front of a crowd. Luckily, Ryan was listening and he proposed to me in private after a day of exploring the city.
