New River Gorge National Park & Preserve
This is the first national park we explored together and about a 20 minute drive from Beckley. Our wedding day is on Bridge Day and a perfect day to check out the beautiful park! Hikes we recommend: Long Point Trail and Endless Wall Trail
Tudor's Biscuit World
You won't regret it and it may in fact change your life. We recommend the Dottie with a side of hashbrowns (yes you're getting a biscuit with a hash brown on it and a hash brown on the side).
Mountain State Miniature Golf
Stop by and have a round of WV themed mini golf followed by some delicious ice cream or some of the best coffee drinks in town! The owner is a family friend of Emily's family. PS this is the spot that Emily almost beat Tommy in golf (almost being the key word).
Tamarack Place
If you're interested in beautiful things made by local WV artisans, stop here on your way out of town! Definitely check out the Blenko glass. The Tamarack also has really tasty lunch (Emily recommends trying the fried green tomatoes).
