Kayla and Morgan met in 2022 during the birthday of their mutual friend, Hannah! Kayla marched up to Morgan, asked her when her birthday was because she could tell they had the same personality, and it turns out their birthdays are 3 days apart. It was an immediate friendship and connection and they've been bestfriends ever since. They now celebrate their birthdays together, and have celebrated each other's milestones ever since!
Jake Szerletich
Best Man
Jake is Joey’s older brother and bestfriend! They are only 17 months apart so they did everything together growing up, the good the bad and the ugly. They played baseball together all their lives which made them even closer since they got to challenge each other constantly. They are still extremely close and they talk almost every day either texting about sports or while playing video games!

Hannah and Morgan met in the 2nd grade when Hannah transferred to A-C! Hannah and Morgan became inseparable right off the bat, keeping a close friendship throughout elementary school, middle school, high school and into adulthood. They have gone through every single milestone together since the age of 8, and they know everything about the other! A friendship of over 20 years still going strong!

Josh is Joey's 2nd oldest brother! When Joey was young he and Josh bonded over basketball, video games, and anything to do with comedy. Joey always looked at Josh as the most comedic of the brothers and he always makes everyone laugh!
Alyssa Morris

Alyssa and Morgan met in 2014 at Illinois College because of a mutual friend! They have crazy stories together, one that’s pretty unbelievable (feel free to ask one of them about it), which sealed the fate of their friendship! They shared a mutual love of the tv show Friends and Mexican food, and it has continued ever since! Their 12 year friendship is as close as ever, even with Alyssa living in another state! Alyssa lives in Ohio and unfortunately will not be able to attend the wedding because her perfect rainbow baby will be making *HER* appearance a few days after the wedding! Alyssa will officially be a mom of two beautiful little girls!

Justin is the oldest of the Szerletich brothers! Justin joined the Marine Corps while Joey was young so Joey always admired him for that. Justin and his family live in San Diego but they stay close by playing video games and catching up over the phone. They have the biggest sports bond with each other since they are both die hard Bears and Cubs fans!

Morgan forced a friendship with Ellen when Ellen moved in across the street from her back in 2024. After multiple trips to Ellen’s house with vegetables from her garden as an olive branch, Ellen finally gave in. They bonded very easily due to extremely similar personalities, endless laughs and having children close to the same age who also became fast friends!

Jarred and Joey have been close friends since 4th grade! They grew up in the same neighborhood and quickly developed a friendship since they were always around each other. Their friendship grew as they got older and played school sports together. As adults, they share another commonality in life as they are both girl dads!

Cheyene is married to Morgan’s brother Michael! They developed the big sister/little sister bond very easily! Cheyene has a multitude of talents and has always shared her creations with Morgan and helps her anytime it’s needed, like a typical big sister! They even have matching sister tattoos! Cheyene is also Gracie’s Godmother!

Michael is Morgan's older brother! He and Joey were able to easily form a friendship due to Michael's outgoing personality mixed with Joey's shy but comical personality! Michael is not only Morgan's brother, but she has always referred to him as her "built in bestfriend." They are extremely similar in almost every way, and if you see them laughing about something, you can bet they are probably up to no good. Michael is also Gracie's Godfather!

Emily and Morgan met in Beardstown through Emily’s now husband! Their friendship jump started immediately after Morgan asked Emily to start doing her hair! Their friendship blossomed because of gossip sessions in the salon and comparing motherhood stories. Emily also knows Joey and went to school with him!

Anthony (aka Lu) and Joey met when Anthony transferred to Pleasant Plains for high school! They became good friends through high school and summer sports, they even went to the same college and played baseball together there too! They still go on bro-dates to the movies every once in a while, too!

Katie and Morgan got to know each other when Gracie started going to daycare with Jojo (Katie's son) in 2021! A friendship formed very easily with Katie and Morgan because of Katie’s hilarious personality! Katie welcomed Morgan very quickly as a friend and with their children being such good friends, it just made sense! Rumor has it, Katie is Gracie’s future MIL! 😉

You were going to find them all either creating havoc around town or playing video games together. The 3 of them still hangout from time to time when they get the chance!
