You are more than welcome to bring gifts or cards, but we will not have a wedding registry!
We would suggest casual or semi-formal. There will be a lot of cameras on-site and many opportunities to have your picture taken! Dress in what makes you feel best!
The ceremony will be outside underneath Camp Skylemar's brand new Pavilion. The reception will be held in the building right behind the ceremony site.
There is no specific theme for our wedding day. We have designed the details of our day to compliment our lakefront venue!
No, there are no plus ones. We do have a seating chart and have not made accommodations for extra guests. We also hope you understand that this wedding was planned when there were still certain state restrictions, so we have to strictly adhere to our current guest count.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. We would prefer that the pictures taken by our professional photographers show your true feelings rather than a hidden face behind a cellphone camera. After the ceremony please feel free to take pictures!
If you've decided to stay overnight in one of the cabins we suggest that you show up as early as 1:30 PM. There will be a sign with "bunk assignments" just before the row of cabins. Please make sure to bring a blanket, pillow, and fan, as the cabins do not come with linens. These cabins typically sleep younger kids so there are several twin beds inside. Please bring whatever you'd like to make this space comfortable for the night!
Once you get through the gated entrance just continue up the hill and there will be signs as well as one person managing the flow of traffic. We will already have a bunch of personal vehicles on site where the majority of vehicles will be parked. There is minimal walking from parking to our ceremony site but we will have signs to make this clear.
