How do I get to Diamond Island?

How do I get around Diamond Island?

Answer

The Inn has golf carts to take guests around the island. You can not rent any but just ask at the front desk and they will assist you. Also, a van will pick you up from the ferry to take you and your stuff to the Inn.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

It is not necessary to rent a car especially if you are staying on the island (no cars are allowed on the island). You can get a taxi or Uber from the airport to the ferry terminal. Once in downtown Portland you can walk to most restaurants and shops.
