Well I (Lori) was hiking one day and heard screaming. It was someone (Jonathan) being attacked by a bear. Because I grew up in California and because I’m such a tall human, I knew just how to scare the bear away, by making myself as big as possible. I threw my arms up in the air and the bear ran away. We later found out that the bear was a rare polar bear that had been tracked all the way to Colorado from Alaska! The rest is history! You have to marry someone if they save you from a bear right?
