Maid of Honor
Meet my sister, my partner-in-crime, and the ultimate "tell it like it is" bestie. Whether we're laughing at silly jokes or getting into the nitty-gritty of life, she's always there to keep it real. She’s been my ride or die and the one I can always count on. We're 13 months apart, so I've never really known life without her. Her passion for staying active, living life to its fullest and not sweating the small stuff are just a few of the qualities I admire. When it comes to Excel spreadsheets, she’s basically a wizard—no number is too complicated. I’m so grateful to have her standing by me on this special day, just as she has in every moment before it.
Best Man
Hello everyone meet my brother Mike, my best man. Best man by title and reputation as he is the embodiment of what an older brother should be. Growing up as the three year younger brother I got to see him go through all of life's big moments and milestones first. His successes in school and professionally doing it all independently, with a humble persona continued to motivate me which played a big part in guiding me in all my accomplishments as I navigated through my own path. His generosity in helping me through tough times was in full display at a time when I needed it most. I had a fractured humorous bone (that's a story for another time), I couldn't work and was starting nursing school at the time and wasn't able to afford school & bills while being out of work so he offered to let me stay for about a year with him rent free while I healed up. This allowed me to focus on school and not go into financial hardship. I am more than proud to have him by my side as my best man to celebrate another milestone moment in my life. I think I can safely say the only thing I was better at than him was in all of our video game battles growing up I would beat him and all his friends playing Super Techmo Bowl on Nintendo! Pretty embarrassing having your younger brother beat him and all his friends I'm sure. You all know who you are and the truth I speak of.
Bridesmaid
Olivia is the ultimate "girls girl". She has had my back and been my #1 cheerleader since we met and became roommates in St. Louis back in 2018! The last 7 years have taken us to different cities, states and countries, but we are always able to pick up right where we leave off. She has a passion for running and a knack for finding the most beautiful, hidden nature trails. One of my favorite memories with her was wandering through Forest Park in St. Louis, dressed in our full gradation attire (including heels!), doing a spontaneous photoshoot and laughing until our sides hurt. She is truly like a sister to me and I am beyond lucky to have her by my side as a bridesmaid and as a lifelong friend.
Groomsman
Mike is one of my closest and longest friends going on 30 years now. Affectionately know as "The O.G." amongst our group. We became friends in high school and were two of the original members of what became know as "The Crew" amongst our closest friend groups, and all have remained close throughout our lives. Mike and I have always remained in close contact even though as life moves on and everyone goes in different directions our bond and friendship has never wavered. I've always said Mike is the smartest and kindest guy I know.. The man can keep his cool under the most stressful situations but do not mess with his pizza. Then and only then, we have bared witness to the wrath of a hangry Mike Wierzbicki! I wouldn't have it any other way than for him to be standing up at my side on my big day.
Bridesmaid
Stella is my work wife of 3 years. We met while working on the progressive care unit and our friendship has flourished ever since! She is one of the kindest, funniest, and most honest people I know. She’s been an incredible support to both Joe and me throughout our journey, and I’m beyond grateful for her unwavering friendship. Her wisdom and humor make her the perfect person to have by my side on this special day. One of our favorite things to do together is brunch, where we never skip the extra side of bacon—because her chuweenie and my chocolate lab would never forgive us if we did. It’s truly an honor to have her as a bridesmaid and to share this moment with her.
