No! Everything from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception is located at Kalmia Garden at Gastler Farm. Although there will be a tent for the reception, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors; so please plan attire accordingly and dress appropriately to ensure you have a comfortable and fun evening!
Formal attire is appreciated, but wear whatever you feel best in! Please refrain from casual clothing (jeans, t shirts, sandals, etc.) on our day. Plan to dress accordingly for a fall wedding! Our wedding party is wearing black, but guests are more than welcome to also wear black! Please avoid colors such as white, pale yellows, creams, etc.
YES! We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than September 1st, 2025. If we do not receive an RSVP from you by this date, we will unfortunately have to mark you as "Not Attending", as it is important for us to finalize our guest count with the venue and catering. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you, but understand if you are unable to make it.
If you are given a plus one, it will be clearly marked on your invite. Please do not ask the bride or groom if you can have a plus one, as we took a lot of time and effort into carefully planning the guest list for our day.
We have decided to keep our ceremony and reception strictly child free! While we love all of your children, we wish to keep our day adults only.
Following our ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with plenty of hors d’oeuvres, as well as an open bar for drinks and cocktails. Following cocktail hour, our reception will include multiple serving stations of dinner options for guests. When RSVPing to the wedding, please make sure to note any allergens you or your guest have, and we will do our best to accommodate appropriately.
Yes! If you do decide to use either of our hotel blocks, there will be a shuttle service provided from either hotel to venue prior to the ceremony, as well as from venue to either hotel at the end of the night to ensure safe transportation! Our reception has an open bar, so the drinks and the transportation are on us! Shuttles will begin transportation to the venue from the hotel at 3:00pm to ensure guests arrive in time for our 4:30pm ceremony time. Please plan accordingly to check in to your hotel room prior to shuttle pick up, or at the conclusion of the wedding, so you can arrive to the venue and find your seat 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
We have reserved hotel blocks at both hotels listed under our "Hotel Block" tab above. We are limited regarding the amount of rooms we are able to reserve, so please make sure to book ASAP if you would like to be included within either of the hotel blocks. If reserved rooms within either of the hotel blocks fill up, there are a number of other hotels within the area that we have listed for you under the “Things To Do” tab. Although the shuttle service will only provide direct transportation to the Hilton Garden Inn and the Fairfield Inn, both alternative hotel options are a quick walk away, allowing guests to still use the provided shuttle service.
If you are booking within our hotel block at Hilton Garden Inn in Wallingford, CT, please do so before September 16th, 2025 as that is the cut off date for the block. If you plan to use the hotel block provided at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, please plan to book your room by the cutoff date of September 18th, 2025. While we have taken special consideration to pick out these hotels for our guests and reserve blocks, we are limited on amount of rooms available. Please plan to book ASAP, as it is likely rooms will fill quickly! Once rooms within the blocks are full, it is up to you to find other options. Use the “Hotel Block” tab above to book your room at either hotel location. Unfortunately, once either hotel block is full, guests will be responsible for finding their own accommodations.
