When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are due no later than July 1st, 2026. Even if you can't make it, please let us know so we can submit an accurate head count. You can RSVP as early as you'd like!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is cocktail attire, and for Late Summer in Louisiana, we suggest: mid-length dresses, elegant separates, sport coats & pants or suits. Bring your dancing shoes!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have been given a plus one, it has been indicated on your invitation and RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have done our best to add all of the kids in the families to the invitations. If we missed you, please let Hannah know. Kids are welcome, but this is not a kid-oriented event.

Food and Drinks?

Dinner will be provided, and the bar is open!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Please plan to arrive with plenty of time to park and find a seat. We recommend arriving no later than 5:15 PM

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. Seating is under a covered pavilion, and fans will be provided. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

What colors should I avoid?

Answer

Any variations of white, cream, beige, etc. The wedding party will be in different hues of green. You are welcome to wear greens, just wanted to give a heads up!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Forrest Grove Plantation has ample parking on site

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn in Denham Springs and had a good experience. It is within 10 minutes of the venue. There are plenty of hotel and Airbnb options in Baton Rouge!
