It all started like most love stories do - in a hot tub in the German Alps.... A year of friendship and European travel led us to our next adventure, the last frontier, aka Alaska. We soon tired of our shipping container home and moved closer to Alex's family in upstate New York (which is in fact even colder than where we'd been living in Alaska, yikes!). As usual, we both got itchy feet and feeling like we'd been living stateside a bit too long, hopped a few flights to the Southern Hemisphere to see what Middle Earth was all about, and man, New Zealand did not disappoint. A little over a year later, we traveled from 45 degrees South to 45 degrees North, and found ourselves a bit closer to Kristen's family in Oregon's beautiful countryside. Dun, dun, duuun!!! Then a curve ball hit, 2020, the year of COVID and canceled plans. We've tried to weather this season's uncertainties with as much flexibility and patience as we can muster, and in doing so have postponed both of our wedding celebrations until summer 2021. In the meantime, we're off on a somewhat familiar new adventure and have moved to Lowville, New York! We're enjoying the change of scenery and we look forward to seeing you at one of our celebrations :)
