we’re getting married!

We were introduced by our close friends on our Senior Spring Break in Siesta Key, and went to Rocky River Prom when we got home. We reconnected February of 2019 and started dating July 20th, 2019. We did the “inconvenient distance” between the University of Dayton and Miami University for 3 years and moved to Lakewood in 2022 after graduation. We recently just bought our first home in Fairview Park!

Starting off by saying that Matthew completely, 100% surprised Kelly!!! We booked a last minute trip to visit Matthew’s mom Traci and stepdad Bob in Naples, Florida. Matthew had had the ring at that point, and thought that would be the perfect opportunity. In the spirit of our upcoming trip to Italy, Matthew booked a gondola ride with a real authentic gondola from Italy. He had his stepdad Bob act like he planned the boat ride for us as a surprise to throw Kelly off. There were even photographers present, under the guise of taking pictures for the website. (Again, Kelly couldn’t have been more clueless, LOL). The gondolier was singing, and Matthew got down on one knee and proposed. It was absolutely magical!!!
