To Love Honor and Old Bay

I was working as a 911 dispatcher for Kent County, MD and he was a volunteer firefighter with Chestertown Station 6. The fire company's annual banquet was coming up and Davey needed a date and he was interested in me. I didn't really know him and was not really sure if I wanted to go or not. After being pressured by friends (aka Brad, Otis, and Peewee) I agreed to go. They told me just to come to banquet and have a good time with friends. So I agreed to go after much pursuasion. The night of banquet I was so nervous because I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Davey picked me up and he was a true gentleman and it was so easy getting to know him. We had a great time at banquet with mutual friends and I didn't want the night to end. After banquet we continued to talk and hang out for about a month until our relationship continued into more then just friends. We started dating, which grew into us being best friends, which grew into love, which grew into us buying a house together, getting two beautiful dogs together, and just starting our life together. Davey proposed at a party at our house in front of some of our closest friends and family after we had been dating for almost 4 years (I said it was about time haha).
