FAQs

Question

Is the wedding being rescheduled and if so, is anything else changing?

Answer

Yes, the wedding has been rescheduled to June 20th,2020 due to the restrictions the state government has placed on events, as well as Hunter and I's concerns for our families well being. While this whole pandemic has put many of us through a loop, we do hope that all guests planning to attend are still able to make it on our new wedding day. All times, events, and venue are still the same, the only thing changing is the date.

Question

What's the latest I can RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 20th, 2020. We need time to account for how much food and beverages will be needed to accommodate all guests. And if you had previously RSVPed for the orginal date, we are asking that you RSVP again for our new date so we can have the most accurate number of guests attending.

Question

Lost? Confused? Need help the day of the wedding?

Answer

Please do NOT call the bride or groom. List of people you who you CAN call will updated closer to the date.

Question

Will there be parking available near the venue?

Answer

Parking near the venue is first come, first serve; but there will be additional parking with a golf cart service to the entrance of the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 1:45 PM, the welcome event and seating starts at 2:00 PM. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM. There will be water available when you arrive.

Question

Should I wear high heels?

Answer

The venue is very rustic with a stone parking lot and driveway and the ceremony will be held in the grass, so it is highly suggested to not wear stilettos, but wedges or small heels should be fine.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, every guest is responsible for getting to and from the event on their own.

Question

Is there a way to share photos during/after the event?

Answer

Yes! and the wedding party would LOVE that! Please use #mymclendonwedding when posting online. There will also be a FREE photo sharing app called "SamSaidYes" please download from the Play Store or App Store and enter code "bkuui7v" to enter event. There will also be a QR code available the day of the event!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes, but please let either the bride or groom know by March 18, 2020.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when completing your RSVP, under the reception event please state any food allergies or restrictions, when asked.

Question

What is there to do if I am from out-of-town?

Answer

Kershaw County is full of lovely little hidden gems with some of the best places to eat and beautiful lush parks. We are also located only about 40 mins from the state capital, which holds a few fun museums and also chalked full of places to eat.
