Travel Note
This is peak Foliage Season, so hopefully by now you have booked your lodging. If not, here are some suggestions: Featherbed Inn & Nordic Resort: This is a charming Inn about 10/15 minute drive from the house and Sugarbush. Breakfast is included and runs 8–10 a.m. As of now, they have about 6–8 available rooms. They will probably push for a 3 night minimum but the Inn is reasonably priced. West Hill Inn: A quaint Inn conveniently located right in between Sugarbush and our house, just a few minutes drive to each location. Breakfast included but served only at 8:30. They also have about 6–8 rooms currently. They too will require a 3 night minimum but again, the Inn is reasonably priced. Sugarbush Resort has many options as well. Go to https://www.sugarbush.com/plan-your-trip/lodging Pitcher Inn: The more expensive but beautiful and very convenient option, located in Warren Village (don’t blink!), just at the bottom of Fuller Hill (2 min drive from the house, 5 min drive to Sugarbush). They also have free standing cottages for rent. Breakfast in the Inn is included. VRBO or Airbnb: Always a great option in the Mad River Valley. We are very close to Mad River Glen and Waitsfield so rentals there are another good option.
