The Wedding Website of Tracy Severcool and Colin McLean

Kelly Severcool

Maid of Honor

Barely a year older, Kelly and I spent the first 17 years together practically everyday, yet have never stopped being opposites. To our mom’s delight, we both ended up at Penn State at practically the same time, which has been enriching to bond over our three diverse experiences from the same alma mater. Now living far from one another, and having opposite schedules, I realize I took for granted all those times I’d come home to find her asleep in my bed, or just show up to her apartment for free dinner. As comforting as it is to have a personal therapist, it doesn’t take much time spent together before the ‘squabbling’ -as Dad always referred- proceeds as normal… sorry Mom!

Gavin Orman

Best Man

Gavin and I have been making questionable decisions together since kindergarten. Through thick and thin (in his case, a little “thick” again), we have been there for one another. I did not always love having him as a college roommate, but I am grateful for all of our shared life experiences and will always think of him as a brother. Tracy and I always look forward to visiting Gavin and Dani in Florida every year for Bike Week, and are excited to be able to spend more time with them in the future!

Francesca Luzi

Bridesmaid

Francesca is my niece, and perhaps because of her older brother Nate, the queen of sass. I admire that insane confidence though and am glad to have been a part of its origination; During our family Disney trip when she was three, Francesca was too small to ride the Spiderman roller coaster. However, she would not take no for an answer and eventually got to ride. Safe to say she was horrified the whole time, but I believe she realized then how powerful the adorable sass could truly be. Now working three summer jobs and studying Public Health at The University of Pittsburgh, I am excited to visit and support her in tackling any challenge she faces!

Drue McLean

Groomsman

Drue used to be the “quiet little brother” who always wanted to hangout with my friends and I. He has grown into quite the talkative, full size jackass over the years. Which makes me a little concerned about letting him give a speech… Drue is currently studying Mechanical Engineering and playing lacrosse at Wilkes University, and I am extremely proud of him. I am excited to see what his future holds, and look forward to pursuing our dream of a family compound property.

Rebecca Luzi

Bridesmaid

Rebecca is my half sister, and has rocked the mom role for most of my life… well let's be honest she's had a lifetime of practice with our brother Matt! This has provided the best of both worlds having an additional mom figure at a younger age, and an established friend/sister in adulthood. Perpetually up for any lovely date or adventure, she has always been the boss planner that we rely on, even if her true Severcool nature appears through the ‘complicated relationship with time’ (that we share) as her husband Frank phrases perfectly.

Ryan (Bootz) Smetana

Groomsman

I met Ryan(Bootz) at highschool football sign-ups, and we instantly both knew that we would be friends. We have made countless life-long memories over the years, and often reflect on how we got away with some of them. These days, most of our new experiences stem from working on household projects, rigging his truck to get back on the road, or whatever activity Tracy has on the calendar for us to attend. Always accompanied by his better half, a French Bulldog named Phoebe, I always can expect a good laugh and a better memory whenever we get together.

Lorraine Peters

Bridesmaid

Lorraine & I chose each other by chance from a freshman housing list at Penn State York, which ended up being the best roommate match! We continued renting together upon transferring to University Park, and now live near enough to each other for day trip excursions and weekend adventures. I am lucky to have found such a cultured, fearless, and genuine friend as I cherish her shared worldly travel experiences and discussing future plans for ski trips and other inspiration for exploration!

Ryan Morton

Groomsman

Ryan and I have had an “I’ll buy one if you buy one” relationship ever since we reconnected after highschool. While this has severely upset both of our moms, it has made for some great memories, and some not so great injuries. Between our hobbies and work life, we have probably spent as much time together as we have apart over the last 6ish years. Tracy, and Ryan’s girlfriend Kyra, occasionally let us know when we have spent “too much time together” and we respectfully disagree. I am lucky to have him as a friend, and will always respect and admire his willingness to give the shirt off his back for anybody that needs it.

Kara Ranazzo

Bridesmaid

Kara is my cousin with the kindest heart of anyone I know. While living with them during the summer before my last semester, she encouraged Tommy to invite his handsome new apprentice in so we could meet, but not before I let their German Shepherd out on him to be the initial judge of character (of course she loved him and didn’t maul his face off). After graduation, I lived with her, Tommy, and a fresh Luca for a year and a half, and they continue to be our go to double (now quintuple) date for all fun events and vacations! All this time has offered a great opportunity to catch up on growing up far apart. Even more so, Kara has helped to share life learning opportunities and a family bond that I will lean on forever.

Tommy ranazzo

Groomsman

”Good time Tommy”, is a friend that I did not expect to have. As he often likes to take credit for, he is the reason that Tracy and I met. Although, it made getting a first date very difficult, because he simply could not turn down a good time and was present for the first three “dates” that I planned. Since then, we have grown a close bond through our like-mindedness, hobbies, family events, vacations, and work endeavors. He has become a great friend to me, and now family.

Layla ranazzo

Flower Girl

Don't mess with Layla, or you’ll “get her bull horns’’! This girl certainly takes after her dad with never wanting to miss a good time! Despite being 2 years younger than Luca, she always wants equal four wheeler rides, and is right alongside him trying the wrestling moves, bike tricks and not being scared of snakes. Honestly not sure if this girl prefers cowboy boots or a princess dress but I anticipate her being a great farm hand in the future!

Luca ranazzo

Ring Bearer

Luca was my first introduction to true childcare and will always hold a special place in my heart. He continues to teach me always in the most adorable ways - these days by showing off his fishing skills or bike tricks learned from Colin. Upon becoming a regular presence in each other's lives at two months old, they formed an instant bond, and Colin does well to keep the boy interested by always bringing around a new toy/motorcycle to give rides. We hope they get to build a sweet chopper together someday!

Lillian ranazzo

Flower Girl

Silly Lilly completed the family a year and a half ago with the most cheerful demeanor imaginable! Regardless of how rough her big brother tries to be with her, Lillian is always happy to be involved, and usually providing some happy screams. Good luck someday Luca… Now having officially found her walking legs, we look forward to seeing how wild this girl flourishes compared to her siblings!

For all the days along the way
