Erin and Jimmy met shortly after graduating from Kent State University in June of 2021. One night, Erin and her best friend, Ashley, decided to go out in Kent. That is where it all began. It turns out, Jimmy and Erin had mutual friends, and Jimmy even lived next door to Ashley for an entire year, but the two never crossed paths until one summer night in Kent, Ohio. Although Jimmy is a Pittsburgh guy, Erin did not let that deter her (she now sleeps under a Steelers blanket every night). Jimmy, being the charming, handsome young man that he is, swept Erin off her feet by making a corny dad joke and showing off his bad dance moves. After that evening, Jimmy asked Erin on their first date to Bellacinos and mini golf. Their feelings grew from there, and two months later Jimmy asked Erin to be his girlfriend. Over the past five years, Erin and Jimmy have traveled to 16 states and 2 countries (and counting). If the couple isn't planning their next trip, you can find them training for a marathon or visiting a local restaurant or museum together. In September 2025, Jimmy and Erin added a trip to Alaska with a group of friends to their list of travels. On a rare sunny day in Juneau, the group decided to visit Mendenhall Glacier, and it was there that Jimmy got down on one knee and asked Erin to marry him (spoiler--she said yes!). The rest is history!
