Travel Note
For those flying in we recommend considering flying into Santa Fe, NM, Albuquerque, NM, OR Durango, CO and renting a car from there to reach Pagosa Springs. It is a 2.5hr drive from Santa Fe, 3 hrs from Albuquerque (more rental car options and more affordable flights) and just over an hour drive from Durango. The drive from Denver is almost 5 hrs, and the drive from Colorado Springs is just over 4 hrs. Pagosa Springs has a small airport as well, if you can get a flight in there. There are several Airbnb options in the surrounding Pagosa Springs area, as well as some small hotels. The McLaughlin Ranch (Slash Bar Ranch) is located approximately 20-30 minutes by car from Pagosa Springs. For those from West Texas, it is easiest to drive to Pagosa Springs, although some might prefer to fly to Santa Fe and rent a car. We recommend Pagosa Springs being your base for the wedding, as the property is located in Chromo, CO, a tiny town that consists of a post office.
