Collin's Dad moved the family from Charlotte, NC to Warminster, PA when he attended Arcadia University. Collin & Melissa were in the same 1st grade class at Longstreth Elementary. They had a bit of a crush on each other, even back then. When 3rd grade was almost over, Collin's family moved to Columbia, SC area.

Melissa looked Collin up on Facebook, and when she found him, asked if he remembered her. He said no, at first. Yeah, you read that right. They became good friends, though being over 600 miles apart.

In college, Collin decided he wanted to visit Melissa at Temple University in October of 2016. He drove up to visit her, marking the first time they would see each other since 3rd grade. Collin drove 10 hours to the beauty that is North Philadelphia in his 1998 Buick. Collin & Melissa made it official on April 8, 2017.

Since moving to South Carolina, Melissa & Collin have reached a few milestones - Collin became a CPA, they bought a house in Simpsonville, SC, and they own a spoiled 3 year old Boston Terrier named Jax.

Collin & Melissa planned a celebratory trip for Collin passing his CPA exams. Collin did not know how to get Melissa dressed up for the proposal, so he bought Charleston Symphony tickets to make that happen! They walked around The Battery in Charleston and then Collin proposed to Melissa, who thought they were just getting their photo taken (by their engagement photographer).
