Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite spots in the area. For those traveling from out of town, we hope you make a trip of the weekend and can visit some other wonderful places nearby. These recommendations span from Aurburn, to Sacramento, to wonderful spots even farther away- but well worth the detour. We hope you enjoy!

The Pour Choice

177 Sacramento Street, Auburn, CA 95603
, (530) 820-3451

Great for breakfast, lunch, coffee and beers. Super cute spot close to lots of shops in old town Auburn.

Restaurant Josephine

1226 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603

Lake Clementine Trail

139 Old Foresthill Road, Auburn, CA 95603

A great 4 1/2 mile hike, with panoramic views of the American River and a photo op at Foresthill Bridge, the third highest in the U.S.

Knee Deep Brewing Company

13395 New Airport Road, Auburn, CA 95602

Moonraker Brewing Co.

12970 Earhart Avenue, Auburn, CA 95602

Lake Tahoe

Since you’re already in NorCal! It’s not too far of a drive (only about an hour) and absolutely worth the detour.

Yosemite National Park

CA

Only three hours away, and one of the most breathtaking, wonderful places in the world. Our first trip was to Yosemite and it really sealed the deal. If you're making a trip of it, we'd highly recommend considering tacking on a couple days to check it out!

Temple Coffee Roasters

1615 16th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

Our favorite coffee shop.

Beast + Bounty

1701 R Street, Sacramento, CA 95811

Hook and Ladder Manufacturing Company

1630 S Street, Sacramento, CA 95811

Revolution Winery & Kitchen

2831 S Street, Sacramento, CA 95816
For all the days along the way
