We met over Sunday brunch about a month after McKinley moved to Savannah. The sparks were immediate for the two Texas-natives, however with both of us recently out of relationships and McKinley 3 weeks into PA school, things started slow. Arthur understood the rigorous schedule school entailed and would offer to cook dinner or meal prep lunches just to spend time with her while she studied. Those who know McKinley know food is the way to her heart, so needless to say, she ate it up (pun intended!). We bonded over our love of dogs, H-E-B, football, travel, and working out. When they found the time, Arthur showed her around the city and they started to absolutely hate the time they had to spend apart. Arthur declared his feelings to her a couple months into dating which she reciprocated. Since then, we've blended our family of pup-kids and couldn't imagine spending life any differently!
