It feels like we spent years just missing each other until God brought us together in July 2024. From both being in Saint Simons many times—likely at the same time since that’s where Hayden grew up—to Hayden living only a mile from Sydney’s work for four years, our paths could have crossed countless times before. But it wasn’t until a simple match on Hinge (lol) that everything changed. Trusting God’s timing wasn’t always easy, but we are forever grateful He brought us together exactly when He did. That first conversation on the app quickly led to meeting at Lake Allatoona about a week later to watch the sunset, where we spent six hours talking and immediately felt a deep connection. We both knew something was different. Since then, we haven’t gone more than a day without seeing each other. In that time, we’ve built a love that isn’t perfect—because nothing is—but one that is strong and grounded on a firm foundation. We truly believe we are each other’s answered prayer—a prayer that took time, but one that reminds us God is never late. His plan has been perfect all along, and we feel so blessed to step into this next chapter, continuing to trust Him with every part of our future.
