About Us: We met at Joe's on Broadway in July, 2021. Three weeks later, Andrew moved back home to North Carolina. Jesse went to visit and wound up questioning her life attending her first NC State football game in her 30's. We did a year of long distance before Andrew moved back into his old apartment building in Chicago. We dated for a year, and then lived together for another year before getting engaged on Thanksgiving in 2024. Jesse brought to the relationship a cat, a box turtle, an unyielding sense of adventure, and over 1,000 books. Andrew brought several expensive pairs of running shoes and conviced Jesse she needed to start spending more money on quality footwear. He also has his own smaller collection of books, and brought an unspeakable amount of peace to Jesse's life.
